postBIDE events 2011: postBIDE Artists Residencies 2011 in collaboration with AREA 24.6.-1.7.2011 in collaboration with tragantDansa 24.6-1.7.2011 in collaboration with La Caldera 15-22.7.2011 The Artists Residencies take place for one week, and on the last day there will be a public performance by the residency group. The participants of the residencies are selected through application from the BIDE 2011 participants, and each residency has 3-4 artists. The performance of AREA and tragantDansa residencies will happen on July 1st - exact time and address to be announced soon!
CANALMONO: An evening of video dance curated by BIDE, shown on May 19th in the Centre Civic Barceloneta at 20.00. Entrance is free of charge. Warmly welcome! June 26th – July 2nd Artist’s Research residence in tragantDansa, Barcelona, for three BIDE 2010 participants. Open showing/performance on July 2nd, in tragantDansa (C/ Reig i bonet 23, Barcelona). Entrance free of charge. Check exact times closer to the event on the newsflash on our front page.
July 26th - August 1st Contact Meets Contemporary –dance festival in Göttingen, Germany, hosting a performance laboratory collaborating with BIDE, facilitated by Sebastián Garcia Ferro and Ulla Mäkinen. Also participation of five BIDE 2010 participants with scholarships and scholarships from the CmC laboratory available for artists to participate in BIDE 2011.
October 9-15th Artist’s Residence in La Caldera, Barcelona, for three BIDE 2010 participants. Open showing/performances in Sala0, La Caldera (Torrent d’en Vidalet, 43, Barcelona), October 15th, entrance free of charge. Check for exact times closer to the event on the newsflash on our front page.
November postBIDE – installation of videos and photos from BIDE 2010, in Centre Civic Barceloneta (C/ Conreria 1-9, Barcelona). Entrance free of charge. Exact dates and times coming soon.
